As a business attorney and business owner, I understand the challenges and opportunities that come with running a company. After years in school gaining a business degree and then a law degree, I traveled Texas as a landman before transitioning out of the oil field to a boutique oil and gas law firm. Eventually I moved to Waco where I got married and worked for Texas State Technical College as general counsel. As a general counsel, I worked with industry partners to set up workforce training programs and partnered with other governmental entities for business development.
As my family grew so did my entrepreneurial spirit and I started an oil and gas investment company so that I could work for myself and raise our young children. In 2021, my family left the city and moved to the hill country where I opened my law practice and, along with my husband, started a title company.
Owning and operating multiple businesses means that I regularly maneuver the legal, insurance, financial, and tax aspects of those businesses.
